Ideas Anyone?

I'm currently thinking of a story for a Tamil short film competition. I know it's a tad weird for me to join a tamil competition but there's nothing in the rulebook that says that only Indians are allowed to enter.
I'm thinking of using non-indian characters who speaks tamil fluently.
Now I just need a good story! Think Afiq think...
I'm desperately in need of good ideas right now.
Ideas anyone?

No theme?? This on???

6. The genre of the Short Film for submission is not restricted BUT the Short Film should revolve and feature the following themes ONLY:
a) Family values; and/or
b) Hard work & Achievement; and/or
c) Save our Nature; and/or
d) Moral values; and/or
e) Importance of Education.

I thought nigga is only for negro?? no??

not really la actually. those indians are considered a minority, very few of them feel that way about themselves.

their culture is very diverse, more diverse than malays because they came from different caste and religions. Hindu, muslims, bahais, christians, sikh (punjabi) etc. their culture is not as intergrated as ours.

nigger is a name used to call slaves from africa so make sure u guys never mention the word in front of african americans. Africans shouldnt be offended though because they were never enslaved.

to make life easier, let's just self-banned the N word.

i'm_siCK_n_tiReD said...

yeah.. im aware dat they kinda offended with the word...

but in 'white chicks' when the disguised wayons mentioned 'nigga', the whites looking at each other because they aware of sensitivity in dat word..

i think they cool now..

anyway, yes please, Self-banned the N words. Its not dat important.

how about an IT-savvy grandma where her teenage-grandchildren (1 boy, 1 girl maybe?) don't know about it..
since the kids dont know about it, they tend to belittle their "paati"..
sort of?
