Yesterday

Yesterday I and four other friends were eating supper at Human Science Canteen. Three guys, two girls. A group of heavily clad sisters approached us and gave me a small paper. "Oh nak mintak derma ke?" was my first thought. I focused my attention from them to the paper and read:

Maaf jikalau anda adalah pasangan suami isteri. Kalau tidak, tidak sopan jika lelaki dan perempuan bergaul bersama. Adalah tanggungjawab kami untuk menegur sesama sendiri. Hormatlah peraturan Universiti. Hormatlah Agama Islam!

I laughed my head off.

Kalau benarlah
itu peraturan universiti.

HAHAHAHAHAAA!!!!

aiyoh, why la they cannot differentiate between pure maksiat and non-maksiat. good luck to them bila nak bekerja di luar once they graduated. cor.

btw, peraturan universiti zaman sekarang ni lah yang menghasilkan lepasan uni yang sempit fikiran, conformists dan macam lalang. ikuuuuuut aje tanpa debat. tak macam pemimpin2 kita zaman 70an.

Amazing. I didn't have this problem for the three years in UiTM.

But I do remember one time I had a barbecue and some neighbors came and asked us to join in prayers at the mosque.

Interesting how my barbecue coincided with their first night going out to get people to go to the mosque for the first time in 7 years.

I simply told them I had guests. When they brought up the whole male-female mingling issue, I told them to get out of the house, and thanked them for the invite.

There is a major difference between offering your opinion and enforcing it upon others. I would suggest those who are conservative to never do the latter.

haha... It's a pretty normal scene in UIA. They dont get out much, some of these 'pious' students.

One word to describe them: delusional.

i had a fair share of it too..

during a carnival (at night) in matrix, i bumped into a classmate (girl, of course). so we chat la tengah2 jalan tu (ramai org lalu lalang) sebab kiri kanan tu stalls. suddenly, 2 ppl approached us and said "ni borak2 ni ada apa hal? kalau saja2, tak payah la. tak manis!"
